New Covid instances in Tamil Nadu on Thursday crossed the 1,000-mark to the touch 1,063 instances, with Chennai alone contributing 497 infections. On Wednesday, the State reported 771 new instances.
There was no Covid loss of life reported within the State.
After 567 sufferers had been discharged, the variety of lively instances within the State stood at 5,174, based on well being division knowledge.
