Over two dozen crew lacking as storm Chaba hits Hong Kong

Greater than two dozen crew on an engineering vessel with 30 folks on board had been lacking after it snapped in two in waters off Hong Kong as tropical storm Chaba handed by, authorities stated.

Three crew members had been rescued, and search and rescue operations had been persevering with for others about 300 km (200 miles) southwest of town, the Hong Kong Authorities Flying Service stated.

The Palace Museum, which was set to open on Saturday as a part of celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s handover to Chinese language rule, remained closed.
