Enforcement Directorate (ED) has freezed a BELL 214 Helicopter of Hameed Ibrahim and Abdulla of Marilog Avion Providers Co. Ltd., Bangkok, saved at J.Matadee Free Commerce Warehouse Zone, Chennai underneath the provisions of Prevention of Cash Laundering Act, 2002
This was consequent upon the request made by US Division of Justice. The mentioned helicopter has been underneath investigation owing to a case registered by the US Division of Homeland Safety over its alleged finish use in a prohibited nation, says a press launch from the ED.
The helicopter was imported by Hameed Ibrahim and Abdulla of Marilog Avion from AAR Company, US and it was shipped to India by Thailand within the 2019.
The helicopter was stored on the warehouse on a month-to-month rental foundation.
